New Citibank citi rewards scam

Our innovation extends to the products and services that we offer you. We introduced the instant Citi Rebate programme, which gives cardmembers rebates up to 10% at 500 locations. We also launched the Citibank Rewards Card which enables cardmembers to earn 10 times rewards points on shopping worldwide.

Oh did Citibank say that the required redemption points is also higher? I lost 200 points that way with the new move, thanks Citibank. I will look into other credit cards when I return to Singapore and cancel your cards.

New Citibank citi rewards fails to impress me.

Before they had their new points structure, I had 2012 points and could redeem 1800 points for a $50 Isetan voucher. But now, without informing consumers, they changed the structure, making it seem as though we'll have more points, but in fact, raised the redemption benchmark.

Now even after paying more than $900 for air tickets, I have only 10985 points! Oh wait, isn't that much more than before? But hey, how many points do I need to redeem for that voucher? 10980!

So now I get more points but redeem less. You do the maths.

Found new bag cleaning shop in Tokyo

It's called Shangri-la shoes and bag reviver. The price is more expensive than Singapore's Colorwash, but I guess I'll just send my bag for a nice wash and not carry it back to Singapore.

Thinking of going down in November after my GMAT is over.

Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil is still the best

After trying so many different cleansing oil, none cleans better and easier than Fancl's MCO. I just threw away SK2's cleansing gel after failing to wash away my foundation thoroughly. Luckily it is just the sample size.

Today's regime (Thur)

This morning's regime

  1. Kingo Kingo Natural Cosmetic Cream Soap
  2. Kose Sekkisei Supreme Refining Lotion, 230ml $95
  3. Clarins UV Plus HP Corrector, 10ml $77
  4. Clinique dramatically different moisturizing Gel, 50ml $40
+ Clarins Eye Lift 15ml $68 & Serum 20ml $82

Remarks:
My skin seems to explode with oil after using Kose black mask. I guess I'll stop using it after the tube is done. So far I'm very pleased with Kingo Kingo, a Japanese brand which uses volcanic ash. It's actually a paste-like cream which you use the net to foam, then use it to cleanse the face. I find my skin less oily and pores reduced. You bet I'll continue to purchase this when I go Japan :)

Night regime
  1. Kingo Kingo Natural Cosmetic Cream Soap
  2. SK2 Toning lotion
  3. Kose Sekkisei Supreme Refining Lotion, 230ml $95
  4. Clinique dramatically different moisturizing Gel, 50ml $40
  5. Clinique Moisture Surge 50ml $73
Remarks:
Hopefully the application of Moisture Surge will reduce the oily problem. Waiting for my Kose lotion to finish so I can use SK2 miracle water. Unsure about using my Diorsnow...

Today's regime (Sat)

This morning's regime
  1. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash 100ml, $18.90
  2. The Body Shop Seaweed facial scrub/ exfoliator
  3. The Body Show Tea Tree mask
  4. Kose Sekkisei Supreme Refining Lotion, 230ml $95
  5. Clarins UV Plus HP Corrector, 10ml $77
  6. Diorsnow Whitening Pore-Refining Gel 50ml $94
  7. Clarins UV PLUS SPF40 (tinted) 30ml $70
  8. Ettusais loose powder
+ Clarins Eye Lift 15ml $68 & Serum 20ml $82

Remarks:
No longer in love with Body Shop cleanser, don't like the moisturizing effect. Moisturizers also made my skin more dehydrated. I'd decided to go Takashimaya to replace both items.

Night regime
  1. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  2. Kose Sekkisei Clear Lotion
  3. Kose Sekkisei Supreme Refining Lotion, 230ml $95
  4. Diorsnow Whitening Pore-Refining Gel 50ml $94
  5. Clinique Moisture Surge 50ml $73
Remarks:
Diorsnow Whitening Pore Refining Gel proved to be not very moisturizing. I'd tried so many different moisturizers now and haven't found one combination which is the best. Sigh... Will try Clinique gel tomorrow.

Takashimaya 10% off Sale shopping list Jan

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel 50ml $40 (its 125ml is $69), Moisture Surge 50ml $73
=113x0.9
=$101.7

Kose Sekkisei Supreme Washing Cream 130ml $44
=44x0.9
=$39.60

Trying Clinique moisturizers if it's good and got the 50ml first.
Oil and alcohol free.
If it's no good, then I'll buy SK2 moisturizer gel, which is also supposed to be oil and alcohol free.

Kose washing cream is not bad and much cheaper than SK2.
