Today's regime

This morning's regime (at home)
  1. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  2. Kose Sekkisei Lotion
  3. Cellnique Pro sebum gel
  4. Clarins Protective Day Whitening Lotion SPF20
+ Clarins Defining Eye Lift

Remarks:
Putting too little Cellnique is ineffective but putting more makes my skin uncomfortably sticky. I think I'll return the bottle tomorrow.

Night regime
  1. Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil
  2. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  3. Kose Sekkisei Lotion
  4. Phytomer oligopur balance emulsion
+ Thursday Plantation 100% tea tree oil to dab on blemishes and pimples.
+ Clarins Defining Eye Lift

Remarks:
Stopped using Cellnique because it made my skin too sticky. Will return the bottle some time this week to Sasa and switch to using Estee Lauder's Idealist.

Realized that the Body Shop's tea tree oil is just 15% oil and the rest are alcohol and etc. Not exactly great for the skin, so I switched to use my sister's Thursday Plantation 100% tea tree oil to dab onto my pimples.

Today's regime

This morning's regime (at home)
  1. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  2. Kose Sekkisei Lotion
  3. Cellnique Pro sebum gel
  4. Clarins day lotion SPF20
+ Clarins Defining Eye Lift
+ The Body Shop tea tree oil to dab on blemishes and pimples.

Remarks:
The seaweed wash always leaves something on my skin which makes me think whether or not I'd rinsed properly.

Anyway after washing, some pimples(?) started to emerge from the crease at my nose. I already had this problem for a week or so. It probably began when I was putting on make-up. I'm not sure what the source of the problem is. All I can do is dab the tea tree oil on them and clean all my puffs and brushes with Fancl puff cleaner.

Night regime
  1. Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil
  2. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  3. Seaweed Pore Cleansing Facial Exfoliator
  4. Kose Exfoliating Massage Gel
  5. Kose Sekkisei Lotion
  6. Cellnique Pro sebum gel
  7. Phytomer oligopur balance emulsion
+ Thursday Plantation tea tree oil to dab on blemishes and pimples.
+ Clarins Defining Eye Lift

Remarks:
Skin feels sticky today. I reckon that it is due to Cellnique. I think I do have a little bit less blackheads than before. Not sure if I'm still putting too much on my face or should I go back to Sasa to ask for a refund. It has been 9 days and tomorrow will be the 10th.

Today's regime

This morning's regime
  1. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  2. Kose Sekkisei Lotion
  3. Cellnique Pro sebum gel
  4. Phytomer oligopur balance emulsion
  5. Clarins UV Plus HP SPF40
+ Suisse Programme Anti-Aging Firming Eye Gel
+ The Body Shop tea tree oil to dab on blemishes and pimples.

Remarks:
Clarins sunblock was remarkably good :D
Easy to put on, absorbed and the skin doesn't feel sticky nor oily!

Night regime
  1. Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil
  2. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  3. Kose Sekkisei Lotion
  4. Cellnique Pro sebum gel
  5. Phytomer oligopur balance emulsion
+ The Body Shop tea tree oil to dab on blemishes and pimples.
+ Suisse Programme Anti-Aging Firming Eye Gel

Remarks:
Pimples have subsided but the blemishes are still there. Blackheads are still visible but I think a bit less than before. Not sure if I should credit the Cellnique or the Phytomer...

I see tiny tiny pimples (oil spots) at my eye bags now. I feel that the Suisse Programme eye gel is not working. Clarin's eye lift was much better :~(
Of course with insufficient sleep, even the best eye products won't be able to cure it.
Too bad I didn't purchase their eye lift during the 20% off sale...

I'm not sure if the seaweed wash is supposed to leave a "thin" veil of moisturizer or not. I just feel that I haven't washed them completely every time.

A Complain letter

Hello,

From my friend's recommendation, I recently made a purchase on Cellnique Pro Series "Pro Sebum Gel" to remove blackheads and whiteheads.

However I followed the instructions on the pink box which says
"PRO SEBUM GEL (min.3 pumps)"

This caused my skin to have small breakouts on the first day.
So I reduced it to 1pump on the following day.
My skin immediately felt better but I thought that I should be following the instructions of minimum 3 pumps.
Hence on the next day, which is today, I put on 2 pumps.
Once again my skin felt sticky and there seems to be excess serum all over my face.

I asked my friend if the instructions was very very wrong and she confirmed with me that just ONE pump is enough.
Not TWO, not THREE, but just ONCE.

It led me to believe that the instructions on the box was wrong and it should be
"PRO SEBUM GEL (max.3 pumps)"

Regards,

Today's regime

This morning's regime
  1. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  2. Kose Sekkisei Lotion
  3. Cellnique Pro sebum gel
  4. Phytomer oligopur balance emulsion
  5. Beauty de Kose Ultra Sun Protector UV SPF50
+ Suisse Programme Anti-Aging Firming Eye Gel

Remarks:
Still see the pimples.

Night regime
  1. Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil
  2. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  3. Kose Sekkisei Lotion
  4. Cellnique Pro sebum gel
  5. Phytomer oligopur balance emulsion
+ The Body Shop tea tree oil to dab on blemishes and pimples.
+ Suisse Programme Anti-Aging Firming Eye Mask & leave-on Gel

Remarks:
Skin is now feeling very sticky. I realized that there's the Cellnique serum leftover when I dab my skin with wet hands. I asked Joanne if the Cellnique instruction was wrong. Because it says min.3 pumps, but I only used 2 pumps. She replied that it is indeed just 1 pump and it'll be enough.

NO WONDER I'm suffering from break outs ever since I started to use Cellnique!!!
My skin was good when I just used 1 pump. Damn. Never trust these instructions by non-international brand!

Remarks:
To my amazement, skin became especially good after applying Phytomer moisturizer! Thanks to it's oil controlling and absorption properties. $40 from the Luxasia sale.
However skin starts to feel "funky" and sticky after the Kose's sunblock. Glad that it's finishing within these few days then I'll switch to Clarins.

Today's regime

Not sure why I still have pimples, big pores and oily skin. So I'm going to keep track of my skincare products to find out what I have to change.

This morning's regime (at home whole day)
  1. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  2. Kose Sekkisei Lotion
  3. Cellnique Pro sebum gel
  4. Clarins day lotion SPF20
+ The Body Shop tea tree oil to dab on blemishes and pimples.
+ Suisse Programme Anti-Aging Firming Eye Gel

Remarks:
Seaweed wash is good, can consider buying the toner and moisturizer (quite matte). Kose lotion feels good but doesn't solve my pore and blackhead problem so I'm going to stop buying it. Cellnique made my cheeks more oily than before and quite itchy! 2 days already and 8 more days to go. Not sure if Clarins day lotion is the culprit for the oiliness as well...sigh*

Using Kose Fasio Aqualive water to constantly moisturize and freshen the skin. It has some methol smell, different from Evian facial spray. It is also a bit more expensive. I think the frequent spray made my skin oily as well. Evian is better.

Night regime
  1. Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil
  2. The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash
  3. Kose Exfoliating Massage Gel
  4. Kose Sekkisei Lotion
  5. Cellnique Pro sebum gel
  6. Tea Tree Oil Blemish Night Lotion
+ Suisse Programme Anti-Aging Firming Eye Gel

Remarks:
Massage Gel was very good, skin tone looks even after wash. But after applying lotion, it became so-so. Still doubtful about the Cellnique sebum gel. I look at the mirror and see more blackheads than before. I hope this is temporary. Skin is still very very oily, so putting on Ettusais night powder to reduce and absorb the additional oil.

Notes:
  • Seaweed Pore Cleansing Facial Exfoliator (aka scrub) to be used 1-2 times per week.
  • Tea tree mask to be used after cleanser and tea tree oil, leave on 10mins then rinse off. To be used 1-2 times per week.
  • Suisse Revitalizing Eye Mask, leave on 10mins then rinse off. To be used 2-3 times per week.
